Schalke goalkeeper Fraisl watched by Norwich and Rangers

Schalke goalkeeper Martin Fraisl is being watched by Norwich City and Rangers.

The 28-year-old is out of contract in the summer and is attracting interest from a number of clubs across Europe who are looking out for an experienced keeper as a free agent.

Austrian Fraisl has kept five clean sheets in the 14 appearances he has made this season for Schalke who are fifth in Bundesliga Two and pushing for a return to the German top flight after an upturn in form.

The Daily Mail says Norwich are fighting to stay in the top flight under Dean Smith and have Tim Krul, Angus Gunn and 37-year-old Michael McGovern competing for their goalkeeping slots which will be re-evaluated in the summer.

Rangers will also assess their options with current No 1 Allan McGregor now 40.
