Schalke fullback Jonjoe Kenny insists he's not thinking about a return to parent club Everton.

Currently on-loan in Germany, Kenny is a wanted man, with Schalke confirming they wish to extend his stay into next season. However, it's also been claimed Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti wants to work with him next term.

For his part, Kenny told Kicker today: "My focus is on the games here with FC Schalke 04. What is after this season? What happens happens."

Kenny has no problem with Everton taking their time over what to do with him next season.

"They have had a difficult time. Everyone focuses on their health and that of their families," he added of the coronavirus problems in England.
