SC Cambuur chief Foeke Booy has welcomed the arrival of Chelsea midfielder George McEachran.

The youngster has joined Cambuur on-loan to the end of the season. The move represents McEachran's first loan as a first team player.

Booy said, "With George we bring in someone who can break open a game with his passing technique, game insight and running ability.

"George is also a real linking player and with his specific qualities a welcome reinforcement."

McEachran's older brother Josh had a past spell in Holland with Vitesse.
