Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri has cast doubt on his future.

After their Champions League elimination at the hands of Bayern Munich, there is talk of Lazio president Claudio Lotito calling time on Sarri's tenure.

Il Corriere dello Sport says tension remains between Lotito and Sarri behind the scenes and there's a belief defeat in the Champions League will see the coach shown the door.

Sarri said yesterday: "Cycle over? Maybe. The future has to be considered with the club, I don't know.

"I still have one year left on my contract for next season even if contracts leave as much time as they can."
