Santos urge AC Milan attacker Robinho to drop demands

Santos chiefs admit their deal for AC Milan attacker Robinho is being held up by the player's personal demands.

Santos cannot match the wages Robinho has enjoyed in Europe.

"I hope Robinho will lower his wages again," Santos Vice-President Odilio Rodrigues told Gazeta Esportiva.

"Milan have set a very high valuation on the player and we hope this can be cut to make the operation more do-able."
