AC Milan attacker Robinho is delighted with his loan move to Santos.
Robinho admits he was desperate to quit Europe.
"I want to thank the Santos directors and the fans for their faith," Robinho told Globoesporte.com. "I am home, at the club which allowed me to realise my dream of being a footballer.
"It hasn't been easy, the most important thing is that my family is happy. Financially the offers in Europe are higher, we have to make a sacrifice.
"I always thought that if ever I came back to Brazil it would be with Santos. It didn't just depend on me, Milan had to agree to it too. To come back to Santos is an honour.
"I hope to continue at Santos for a long time. It depends on Milan too, I have a contract with them.
"Europe is not in my thoughts, I have played there enough."
