Santos president Odilo Rodrigues Filho is fuming over reports that Barcelona paid an extra 38 million for the transfer of Neymar. It's claimed by El Mundo Deportivo that Barca paid €95 million for the Brazilian, rather than the official figure of €57 million.
Rodrigues has made it clear if the reports are shown to be correct, Santos will be demanding their cut of the outstanding money.
"If Barca paid more and it is a value corresponding to the transfer, we have the right to demand that money: Santos had 55% of the federal rights of the player," snapped Rodrigues.
"We do everything in a transparent manner. I do not know if it is true information. Barca vice-president (Josep Maria Bartomeu) said they spent 57 million euros, and it is he who has to say yes if this is true..."
