Santos director Alexandre Gallo admits they're prepared to sell Marcos Leonardo in January.

Manchester United and AS Roma are in contact with Santos for the young striker.

Reports of a potential move for Leonardo saw protests from Santos supporters, especially as Deivid Washington had already been sold to Chelsea.

Gallo said, "Marcos Leonardo understood that it was a difficult situation and agreed to wait.

"We raised his salary and determined a number of criteria that will facilitate a move in January for him, provided that the offer is interesting to Santos."
