Arsenal are eyeing Udinese defender Silvan Widmer.
The Switzerland international, reports TMW, has been recommended to Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger by Raul Sanllehi.
Sanllehi is set to join the Gunners as the club's new sporting director and has discussed Widmer with Wenger.
The 24 year-old is under consideration by Arsenal as a potential replacement for Hector Bellerin, who has been linked with Juventus in recent days.
Any move for Widmer is likely to need approval from Premier League rivals Watford. The Hornets and Udinese are owned by the Pozzo family, so they informally enjoy first refusal on Zebrette players - and vice-versa.
