Fulham defender Chris Baird has become a target for the boo-boys.

Craven Cottage boss Lawrie Sanchez said: "I've had a word with Chris. He has stepped up to this level and to a certain extent I have had to leave him in the firing line.

"It takes time to step up to the Premier League and he has not played in the league before.

"In time I'm sure he will prove a good asset but at the moment he is still finding his feet."
