MLS club San Jose Earthquakes have acquired midfielder Khari Stephenson from Norwegian club Aalesunds FK.
The 29-year old Jamaican international will be eligible to play for the Quakes as soon as he receives his International Transfer Certificate.
General manager John Doyle was delighted with the addition of the former Chicago Fire and Kansas City Wizards man who has also had stints with Swedish clubs GAIS and AIK.
"Adding an experienced physical presence like Khari to our team is something we have been looking to do for a little while now," said Doyle. "He brings a great touch and solid work rate to our midfield that will benefit us in our push for the playoffs and in the future."
