Sampdoria striker Giampaolo Pazzini admits he is to blame for his transfer from Fiorentina.
Pazzini struggled to realise his potential until moving to Samp last season.
"It was also my fault that two years ago I wasn't who I am now," Pazzini explained in an interview with La Stampa.
"I have matured as a person and accumulated experience through playing regularly.
"I now understand football more from the details and certain movements that help me score.
"In the end, I am still spoken of as a promising footballer, but promising footballers are 19 or 20. At 26 you must be a professional, and I turn 26 in August."
