Sampdoria striker Patrik Schick has seen a move to Juventus fall through.

It was claimed Juve had backed out of their €25m deal to sign Schick, but Samp have since announced that the decision was taken by both clubs.

“UC Sampdoria and Juventus FC both announce that it was mutually agreed not to finalise the transfer of player Patrik Schick," read a statement on the Blucerchiati's official website.

Speculation over the failed transfer ranges from a cardiac problem being detected in the 22-year-old's medical to Samp's unwilingness to re-negotiate its terms.
