Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero won't block coach Sinisa Mihajlovic from moving to a bigger stage.

Mihajlovic oversaw Samp's victory against AS Roma last night.

"I am very ambitious," Ferrero told Corriere dello Sport.

"Mihajlovic has a contract to stay for another year, and if he's happy to stay then I'll be happy.

"If, however, he has the opportunity to go to England and Coach Manchester [City or United] then I'll be happy too.

"If your wife tells you she loves someone else, what do you do? Hold on, or let her go? I'd let go."
