Sampdoria coach Marco Giampaolo admits he's worried after their 3-1 home defeat to Juventus.
Antonio Candreva saw a penalty saved during the reverse.
“I think you can build towards results with strong performances and today Samp played the way we had to," Giampaolo told DAZN.
“In the long run, playing like this will get results. Unfortunately, this counter-attacking approach is one of the characteristics that Juventus have and both their opening two goal came from that type of situation.
“I believed that if we scored, we'd open it all up again, which is what happened, then the third goal ended it."
He added, “You cannot have fear if you want to play football. The situation is clear, we must know we're putting in good performances and improve our self-esteem. Our position in the table is precarious and we must be able to deal with that."
