Sampdoria coach Mimmo di Carlo will speak with Antonio Cassano after hooking him during their 1-1 draw at Bologna.

Cassano was visibly unhappy with Di Carlo's decision.

But the coach explained: "We had so many scoring opportunities, but didn't finish them off. We deserved the victory.

"Antonio Cassano did not appreciate the substitution, but we will talk it over."
