Sampdoria chief Carlo Osti insists they haven't received offers for Mikkel Damsgaard.
The Dane is attracting interest from across Europe.
“We haven't received a real call yet," Osti told Il Secolo XIX. "Quality, not quantity, makes the difference right now.
“Today, a manager must recognise the players' qualities, making as few mistakes as possible."
After a successful Euro 2020 with Denmark, Damsgaard is now valued at €40m and Sampdoria are unwilling to accept swap deals to sell their starlets.
Damsgaard scored two goals and delivered four assists in 37 appearances with Sampdoria last term.
