Flamengo are eyeing Manchester United fullback Alex Telles.

Telles is currently on-loan with Sevilla and has little prospect of a future with his parent club.

Flamengo held talks with United over the weekend about the Brazil fullback, with their desire to secure a loan move with an option to buy.

Sacked Sevilla coach Jorge Sampaoli has just been named sporting director at Flamengo and has big plans for the squad.

And that includes making a move for Telles at the end of the European season.
