Blackburn Rovers fullback Michel Salgado feels they're safe after drawing with Manchester United.

Rovers and the champions played out the last 10 minutes at walking pace as both teams were happy with the draw.

Salgado said: "If we'd been stupid we could have conceded another goal. We got a point and it should be enough.

"Before the game we'd have felt a draw would be enough against the champions."
