Nicola Salerno is set to join the front office at Watford.

TMW says Salerno is leaving his football director's role at Leeds United to take up a similar position at the Premier League new-boys.

Salerno's last piece of business at Leeds was overseeing the signing of Sol Bamba.

The Italian is now expected to be confirmed as Watford's football chief in the coming days.
