Salernitana veteran Antonio Candreva has rejected criticism of Romelu Lukaku.

Candreva played with Lukaku at Inter Milan during his first spell with the Nerazzurri.

“He's a top centre-forward, and when he came to Inter he improved a lot," Candreva said of the Belgian. “He makes virtually no mistakes in front of goal, he's a complete striker."

Candreva added, “We have a good relationship, we talk still today.

“When we were together in Milan he called me Toni or Tonino."
