Sadler and Stowell to lead Leicester against Bournemouth

Co-caretaker managers Adam Sadler and Mike Stowell will be in charge of Leicester City for Saturday's clash with Bournemouth.

It could be a season-defining game, with both the Foxes and Bournemouth currently in the bottom three.

Speaking at the club's press conference on Thursday afternoon, Sadler said: “The situation remains exactly as it was. Mike and I are going to be in charge for the game at the weekend.

“We'll prepare the team tomorrow and be ready for the game on Saturday. Beyond that, there's no new update on anything else.

“We prepare for every game with our usual processes. It's going to be a massive game, we understand that, but there'll be no difference in the way we prepare for this game than we did on Tuesday night.

“Mike and I have worked very closely with Brendan and it's a sad situation to see Brendan leave the club. That's happened now and the club have made that decision.

“All we can do is look at the next fixture and prepare the team as best as we can and stay really focused on getting the group into the right place possible to go and win the game.

“Bournemouth is a club in a similar situation to ourselves, in the relegation zone. They're a couple of points ahead of us. I think Gary (O'Neil) has done a really good job with that team. You can see a clear identity in how they play. They're a side who play on the front foot.

"We have to be ready. We know there's a big challenge coming up on Saturday. It potentially is a fantastic fixture."
