Sadler and Stowell step up at Leicester as co-caretakers

Adam Sadler and Mike Stowell are in charge of Leicester City after the sacking of Brendan Rodgers.

After Saturday's dismissal of manager Brendan Rodgers, it was announced assistant manager Chris Davies and fitness coach Glen Driscoll would also be leaving.

Stepping into the breach as co-caretaker managers are Sadler and Stowell.

Sadler arrived in 2014, originally as an opponent analyst, before being promoted to first team coaching duties in 2018.

A former Manchester City U18s manager and Newcastle reserves manager, he is also the assistant manager for Northern Ireland, after taking the role in 2021.

Former Wolves goalkeeper Stowell has been with Leicester since 2005. He has previously taken caretaker charge twice, first back in 2011 before Nigel Pearson's re-appointment, and in 2019 ahead of the appointment of Rodgers.
