Liverpool fullback Ryan McLaughlin says he models his game on several star defenders.

The 18-year-old is focused on learning and improving further during the years to come and revealed which players he watches for inspiration along the way.

"I like to look at players in my position to learn things from, like Philipp Lahm, Glen Johnson and Dani Alves," McLaughlin told TheBibTheorists website. He added: "The dream would be to be playing week in, week out for Liverpool as well as challenging for trophies and winning them."
