Ryan Giggs won't discuss Man Utd while on ITV sofa

Ryan Giggs isn't expected to discuss Manchester United during his pundit's role with ITV.

The Sunday World says Giggs is set to join the ITV Sport team as a pundit for the rest of Euro 2016, but he is not expected to make any comment on his future role with Manchester United in his TV appearances.

Giggs will fill a seat previously occupied by his former Manchester United team-mate Roy Keane, who has been an outspoken pundit on the ITV sofa over the last few years.

It seems unlikely that Giggs will offer quite as much punch in his analysis, with an ITV insider telling sundayworld.com that the Old Trafford great will be commenting on Euro 2016 matches and not his future at United.

Speculation has been rife that Giggs will walk away from United after 29 years with the club, after he was overlooked for the manager's position following the sacking of Louis van Gaal last month.
