Ryan Giggs is preparing to leave Manchester United.
The Daily Mailsays Giggs believes the Red Devils have gone back on an agreement to give him the top job after working alongside David Moyes and Louis van Gaal.
And Giggs' representatives are now in talks over a pay-off as he enters the final year of his contract.
The former United winger is keen to move into management but has not spoken directly with new boss Jose Mourinho at any time.
The Welshman is set to start a brief punditry role for ITV tomorrow night as Euro 2016 enters the quarter-final stage.
But Giggs has reportedly been advised by some at Old Trafford to leave the club and further his ambitions as a manager.
The lack of contact with Mourinho suggests the Special One has no desire to work with the United man although a last-ditch offer cannot be ruled out.
