Celtic midfielder Marc Crosas could be on his way out at Parkhead after being frozen out of the first team.

The 23-year old former Barcelona starlet has appeared just once for the Hoops in the league this term after being a regular under Tony Mowbray and is keen to get some first team football away from Glasgow.

Russian Premier League newcomers FC Volga have swooped for the ex-Lyon loanee after nothing came from Racing Santander and Girona's interest.

It is believed that a £300,000 deal is being finalised, meaning Celtic will take a £115,000 hit on Crosas but will insert a sell-on clause in case he does well in Russia.
