Russian club Rubin Kazan are hoping to exercise Demba Ba's £7million buyout clause but Newcastle United insist he is staying put.
The Senegal striker has been linked with a Magpies departure for months now with Rubin activating his release clause but the Daily Mail believes that the hitman is going nowhere.
Newcastle are determined to keep Ba at Sports Direct Arena this summer but Rubin are trying to pry him away from England's Northeast before then end of July which is when his release clause expires.
