Rozehnal fires parting shot at Newcastle boss Keegan

David Rozehnal fired a parting shot at Newcastle United boss Kevin Keegan as he completed his loan switch to Lazio last night.

The Czech Republic defender, 27, was furious with new manager Keegan after starting just two games in an unaccustomed midfield position.

Rozehnal, one of former boss Sam Allardyce's first signings when he arrived from Paris St Germain for £2.9million last summer, has gone to Lazio on loan and will sign a permanent deal at the end of the season.

He rapped: "I am bitter. I was looking forward to coming to Newcastle after playing at Club Brugge and PSG.

"Now I am not sure if this looks like a dream spell. I did not expect I would be sitting on the bench.

"Once I played as right-back, then left-back, then in right midfield or as a defensive midfielder.

"I don't like such rotation but I will fight on."
