New Hull City head coach Liam Rosenior has ruled out bringing back Manchester United Under-21s player-coach Tom Huddlestone.

Rosenior was appointed as the Tigers' new boss last week and speculation has been mounting about who he could add to his coaching team.

Huddlestone, who played with Rosenior at Hull, has been linked with a return to East Yorkshire, but the new Tigers chief has confirmed he will not be swapping Old Trafford for the MKM Stadium.

Rosenior told BBC Radio Humberside: "No. I love Tom but he has got a great job at Man United. I said to him that one day we will work together but it won't be this time."
