Norway international Vadim Demidov is moving to promoted Real Sociedad.

The defender, who has six months left on his contract with Norwegian club Rosenborg, is hoping to join the newly-promoted Primera Liga outfit as soon as possible.

"Vadim has decided to move to Spain," advisor Sergej Demidov told Adresseavisen.

"We have to wait until the two clubs reach an agreement."

Demidov is prepared to wait until his current contract expires if the clubs fail to agree a deal.

"It's not a problem," added Demidov. "Vadim is ready to take up the challenge even during the season."
