Manchester United face a battle to keep hold of reserves coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Solskjaer is being lined up to be the next manager of Norwegian side Rosenborg.
Rosenborg boss Eric Hamren is the frontrunner to take over as head coach of the Sweden national team and has already been interviewed for the position, leaving the Norwegian champions to make contingency plans.
Solskjaer's adviser Jim Solbakken said: "It is only natural that the Norwegian club would check out Ole Gunnar's situation. He will not be reserve team coach at Manchester United for the rest of his life."
