Wayne Rooney admits losing the title on the final day of last season was his lowest moment at Manchester United.

United surrendered the title to Manchester City only in the final minutes of the campaign.

"Last season at Sunderland. Walking off thinking, hoping, that maybe we'd won it, then being told that we hadn't, was hard. It was a horrible feeling. A disaster for everyone involved," he told Shortlist.
