Ronaldo: Saudi Pro League can be in top 5 competitions in the world

Cristiano Ronaldo is convinced by the potential of the Saudi Pro League.

Ronaldo left Manchester United for Al Nassr and is now settled and starring in the SPL.

Back with the Portugal squad, the veteran striker said: "I feel really well.

"That's why I'm here. If I didn't think so, I wouldn't be. I'm in a very competitive league. People should look at the Saudi league differently.

"Of course it's not like the Premier League, I'd be lying if I said it was, but it's competitive. I am amazed at how strong it is. There are good teams, the league is balanced, the Arab players are good, the foreigners bring quality.

"Possibly in five to six years it will be the fourth or fifth most competitive league in the world - if they continue this plan."
