Roma striker Mirko Vucinic was delighted with his double in Tuesday night's 4-1 win at Dynamo Kiev.

"I'm happy with yesterday's two goals," he said. "And to think that in the past I have made so many mistakes, like against Empoli when I missed an absolute sitter. Now things are going so much better."

There was some concern for Vucinic after he picked up a knock on the night, but he has allayed fears.

"I took a decent blow and I felt severe pain," the ex-Lecce man explained. "I broke my boot and I had to change it, but I hope to be back for Sunday."
