Roma winger Stephan El Shaarawy has confirmed turning down a move to China.
Shanghai Shenhua reportedly offered him over €10m a season.
“I don't feel like leaving Europe," he said.
“I still want to play at the highest level. It's too early, not even at 26, to make such a drastic choice."
El Shaarawy's contract with Roma runs to 2020.
