Roma has jumped to the top of their group in the Champions League after defeating Romanian club Cluj 3-1.

Matteo Brighi scored a brace and Francesco Totti a free-kick in the victory that has given the club every chance of progressing through to the knockout stages of the competition.

Brighi and Totti had the visitors ahead before Yssouf Kone restored some faith for Cluj.

The battle was then won by Roma as Brighi controlled brilliantly in the area and struck home for his second Champions League goal.
