AS Roma striker Stephan El Shaarawy says he's fully behind coach Jose Mourinho.

El Shaarawy admits he loves playing for the Portuguese.

"Mourinho? In terms of mentality, he's a great coach and communicator. We talk, he talks to everyone in the same way and it's certainly his greatest strength," said the striker.

"He's a winner, we have to follow him in all respects, because he can make us take that extra leap."

El Shaarawy added: "Is there still so much to do together? Training sessions, the intensity, the desire he has to achieve his goals. Just as he did last year in the Conference.

"This makes us understand how much he cares about Roma and about doing well here. We have never talked about other teams or other national teams for him."
