Roma are making a late market move for Manchester United defender Chris Smalling.
Scrambling for a new centre-half addition, Roma have made attempts for Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi and Liverpool's Dejan Lovren.
But Sky Italia says they've now turned to Smalling.
Indeed, it's suggested an agreement has already been struck over a straight loan without the option to buy. Roma will cough up €3m for the season-long deal.
Smalling is under contract at United until 2022.
