Roma's squad visited a memorial with captain Daniele De Rossi laying a wreath in memory of the 96 Liverpool supporters who died in the Hillsborough disaster.

On April 15 1989, the disaster occurred during an FA Cup semi-final between the Reds and Nottingham Forest.

There is a memorial to those who lost their lives outside Anfield, and ahead of tomorrow's Champions League semi-final first leg, Giallorossi captain De Rossi laid a wreath on behalf of the squad.
