Rasmus Kristensen admits Jose Mourinho was key to joining Roma.

The Denmark defender has joined Roma on-loan from Leeds United.

“Mourinho expects me to help the team and do what I know," he said.

“I will be an option on the right flank. The most important thing is to help the team, the coach and the club. That's why I am here.

“I have positive feelings. I've been here for five days and I've been working hard. Everything is going well, I am enjoying the team and the city," continued the Denmark international.

“I think a three or five-man defence suit my characteristics more. I like to push forward and think that my qualities emerge more with these two systems even if I've mostly played in a four-man defence in my career."
