Roma have joined the interest in Southampton defender Jannick Vestergaard.
The Denmark international was linked with Tottenham last week. Spurs manager Jose Mourinho has approved a move for Vestergaard as he seeks to strengthen his defensive options for next season.
And TMW says Roma are also interested in Vestergaard ahead of the summer market.
Roma sporting director Tiago Pinto has made contact with the player's minders to register their interest and make early soundings about a move to Italy.
Pinto is in the market for a new centre-half with Juan Jesus coming off contract and Federico Fazio also expected to leave.
Vestergaard's value to Southampton has been confirmed in his absence this season. Saints were seventh on the Premier League table before he collected a knee injury in December and they slipped down the ladder in his absence. He also missed the 9-0 defeat by Manchester United at Old Trafford.
