Off contract Wolves winger Adama Traore is in talks about a Serie A move.
Sky Italia says Roma are challenging AC Milan for Traoré's signature. The Spaniard prefers to move to a club that plays in the Champions League.
Roma, who will have to settle for the Europa League next season, still plan to give Milan serious competition for the 27-year-old.
Traoré has scored 14 goals and provided 20 assists in 194 competitive games for Wolves.
His agent Jorge Mendes is in talks with clubs from across Europe.
