Roma release statement after Evan N'Dicka released from hospital

AS Roma have released a statement after Evan N'Dicka was released from hospital yesterday.

The defender collapsed holding his chest in the second-half of Roma's clash with Udinese and was rushed to hospital.

N'Dicka is now at home and Roma have since stated: "Following an acute precordial pain and non-specific changes on the electrocardiogram carried out in the first emergency room at the stadium, the player Evan N'Dicka was hospitalized at the Santa Maria della Misericordia Hospital in Udine. First and second level cardiological checks were carried out, resulting negative for cardiac pathology.

"In light of the latest tests carried out in the morning, the clinical picture is compatible with chest trauma with minimal left pneumothorax. The player has been discharged and will carry out further checks in Rome."

Then in another passage of the press release the Giallorossi club added: "AS Roma would like to thank the Udinese Calcio club, the referee Mr. Pairetto, the public present at the Udine stadium and the medical staff and of the Santa Maria della Misericordia hospital in Udine. All together, in those excited and apprehensive minutes, we demonstrated the values of sport and put the protection of life first."
