Roma ready to make concrete move for Chelsea boss Ancelotti

AS Roma are ready to make a serious move for Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti.

The Sunday Express says Ancelotti's future is still the subject of intense speculation, despite the midweek win over Manchester United.

And Roma are keen to take advantage of the uncertainty, even though Ancelotti insists he wants to see his contract out at Stamford Bridge.

"There are a lot of rumours in Italy, but I want to be clear that I want to stay here," he said. "I feel good here.

"I said one day in an interview that my dream is to train Roma, because Roma was my first team as a player.

"But it's a dream. In the future I would like to do this, not now."

Roma intend to test that, and owner Roman Abramovich's resolve.
