Roma president Rosella Sensi is thrilled to be top of the table.

Victory over Atalanta yesterday saw Roma leapfrog Inter Milan to the Serie A leadership.

"It is such a strong feeling. I am so excited and agitated, it's wonderful," smiled Rosella.

"Going into the week leading up to the Rome derby as the Serie A leaders has a special meaning for us and hard work does pay off. We must remain as concentrated as ever.

"Right now we deserve to be at the top of the table. As always we must praise the players and the fans. Today the Olimpico was packed and it was a great sight."

She added: "We have to keep playing with the same effort, concentration and determination. There are so many sensations and I want to say my first thoughts were for my father."
