Roma owners seek out Porto coach Villas-Boas

AS Roma's new owners have decided to replace coach Vincenzo Montella at the end of the season.

Sky Italia says back-to-back defeats have made up the mind of Thomas Di Benedetto and his new board.

Roma intermediaries have already made contact with the camp of Andre Villa-Boas, the Porto coach, about next season.

Villas-Boas is regarded highly by the football advisers at Roma, though Di Benedetto also has Carlo Ancelotti (Chelsea) and Roberto Mancini (Manchester City) on his shortlist.
