Roma are circulating Alexandre Doni's name around the Premiership.

The Daily Mail says Roma are ready to offer Brazil goalkeeper Doni to Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester United in a bid to raise funds.

The cash-strapped Serie A high flyers want to sign loan star Nicolas Burdisso on a permanent deal from Inter Milan and hope to raise about £5m by off-loading Doni.

Tottenham, who have also been linked with Genoa's Marco Amelia in their pursuit of a new keeper, are seen in Italy as the favourites despite being more than happy with first choice Heurelho Gomes.

United are looking for a long-term successor to Edwin van der Sar, while Arsene Wenger his reassessing whether Manuel Almunia and Lukasz Fabianski are good enough to take his team forward.
