Roma are stepping up their bid for Real Madrid striker Alvaro Negredo.
The Spaniard is Roma coach Luciano Spalletti's prime attacking target for the remaining weeks of the summer market.
Roma president Rosella Sensi has spoken with Italian agent Enzo Bronzetti, who is close to Real, about a striking terms for Negredo. Roma are willing to double his £500,000 salary to bring the player to Italy.
