Roma joins the Amazon marketplace

Roma has launched a brand new, officially-licensed fan shop on the shopping website Amazon, reports www.fcbusiness.co.uk

European customers can now shop for everything related to AS Roma on the club's dedicated Amazon storefront.

The multinational e-commerce company's net revenue was US$232.88 billion, up from US$177.86 billion in 2017 and has over 100 million people subscribed to its Amazon Prime membership service.

"We are excited to enable fans across large parts of Europe to shop easily for our products," said Francesco Calvo, Chief Revenue Officer at AS Roma.

"One of our main goals is always to bring our services to the fans wherever possible – and thanks to Amazon we can offer them the most convenient product-ordering experience possible.

"Amazon is the most well-known and accessible marketplace in the world, and this agreement plays a very important role in the club's merchandising strategy."
